All The Facts You Need To Know About Chinese Food

 




              Chinese people only eat hot pot for three meals.

              Everyone has a pet panda at home in China. Mine is called Fu Gui.

              Not only dog meat, Chinese eat everything.

               ALL THE "FACTS" ABOVE ARE WRONG!!!

So what do Chinese really eat everyday? There are various types of meals in China, and the time is slightly different from that in Western countries. 

For breakfast, it could be:


Soy milk with deep-fried dough sticks

Deep-fried dough sticks are normally eaten at breakfast as an accopaniment for rice congee or soy milk.

Or this: 


Baozi with Duck blood and bean-starchy vermicelli soup 

Duck blood and vermicelli soup (Chinese: 鸭血粉丝汤) is a traditional delicacy of Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu province, and is also eaten in other regions of China.

Or even this:


Hot pepper soup

Hot pepper soup or spicy soup is a kind of Chinese traditional soup created in Henan Province. As its name, it is made of white pepper and soup, white pepper is put into the broth made by beef soup.

Lunchtime in China is a bit earlier than in Europe, usually between 11:30 and 12:30. Chinese usually eat warm or hot dishes for lunch. Lunch in China presents with many options if you want to eat like a local: rich, noodles, dishes, dumplings, pancakes, hotpot. If you're working/studying, you could choose a quick meal.

For dinner, dinner is a bit richer than lunch. When it comes to festivals/holidays, Chinses people would have a big meal with their families. On normal days, people would have some ordinary food, for example noodles or some fried dishes.

With a long history, unique features, numerous styles, and exquisite cooking, Chinese cuisine is one important part of Chinese culture. They are famous for color, aroma, taste, and appearance. From the pictures above, daily food in China is as normal as any other food in the world. In fact, we don't eat dogs and do not have a pet penda at home!
